Rendered by Hand,
Not Machine.

Michael L. Armsden was born in Miami, FL in 1945. His skill as an imaginative designer and artist manifested itself early.

Merging a discerning eye and raw talent, Armsden taught himself to master the mechanics and artistry of this complex field.

As Art Director of a large sign company for 10 years, Armsden popularized the use of architectural rendering in the field of signage. His designs were rich in detail and originality, revealing his skill at grasping the overall requirements of the client.

He began Armsden Design in 1986 to focus on the needs of the advertising and architectural communities, in an effort to make building design and illustration more vivid and understandable.

Armsden’s dramatic techniques and attention to detail are consciously designed to make a client’s project more approachable to the public.

Armsden’s love for economics, history, geography and culture, have imbued his artwork with a unique richness and diversity.
